Update on Things

Well it's been quite sometime since I've been around. Hopefully I will be able to stick around for awhile. I've been going through some of my old photos and posting a few of them. My cousin, who's a wedding photographer, showed me a few editing tips so I've been having fun playing with those.
Also, today marks 2 months until my wedding! AHHH! I'm starting to feel the crunch. It's been fun but really busy and stressful. Everytime we complete one task there's another one sitting them waiting for us. Thankfully most of the big stuff is done and my mom has been a HUGE help! There is no way I could do this all without her.
Dan and I bought year passes to the San Diego Zoo/Wild Animal Park so we're planning on going soon and I'll be bringing my camera! Also, just after the wedding Dan's mom and brother will be staying for a few days and we'll be doing some fun stuff so hopefully I can get some good pictures! I'm also leaving for Lake Havasu, Arizona in a couple days and we'll see if I can get any good sunset shots. *Prays that nature is going to give her a nice show*
For our honeymoon we're going on a week-long cruise in Alaska! We'll be spending about a day in Vancouver before the cruise leaves then hitting Juneau, Skagway, and ketchikan. Then after the cruise we'll be taking a trainride from Vancouver to Los Angeles along the coast. I'm looking forward to some great views and exciting scenery and getting some amazing photos!
I'm all done with school, which is super exciting! I have my elementary teaching credential and am looking for a full-time position. I've been enjoying being a substitute teacher but I really want my own classroom. With the budget cuts in California though, who knows what's going to happen. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
